Diwali is the most important Hindu festival in India. It is also known as “Festival of Lights”. The celebration emphasizes victory of light over darkness, good over evil, hope over despair. During Diwali, millions of lights and candles shine roads, streets, and alleys all over the country. The people also burn firecrackers throughout the night.
