A shoe keeper sits next to an entrance gate to the holy shrine of Ali. The shrine, also known as “Blue Mosque”, is a major pilgrimage site in Afghanistan. Seeing how happy and proud he is with his humble job, I learned that dignity always starts from one’s heart.
