A baby just wakes up, inside his shabby hut in the village of Manda, Papua New Guinea, just few kilometers away from the Indonesian border. The border between the two countries is mainly a straight vertical line, with a bulge in the middle following the curve of the Fly River. Manda is located near the bulge of the Fly River, and due to proximity and intense contact with Indonesia for border trades, most people in this area speak Indonesian language.
