A bride in the mountainous northern Pakistan cries sorrowfully along the way as she was escorted to follow the groom. It’s customary that a bride in the area should not show any sign of happiness in her wedding day, so heart-wrenching cry of a bride is normal. Most of the marriages in Pakistan are arranged marriage, where parents have almost absolute right in deciding their daughters’ marriages.
