A woman proudly shows a medal awarded by the Mongolian government because she has many children. To encourage the population growth in the sparsely-populated country, the government gives ‘First Order of Glorious Motherhood’ award, dubbed as ‘Super Mama’, for mothers who have six or more children. They also get 200,000 tugriks (about $150) monthly from the government. While the ‘Second Order of Glorious Motherhood’ is for mothers with more than four children, along with 100,000 tugriks stipend.
