Ozoda Qosimova is a dance teacher in Samarkand. She fell in love with Indonesian dances the first time she saw performance in the Indonesian Embassy in Uzbekistan. She then learned the dances by herself, and was dedicated to teach the Uzbek students various traditional dances of Indonesia. She also learned Indonesian language by memorizing dictionary, and speaks the language fluently. When asked what she likes about Indonesia, she said, “Its beauty, and its calmness.”
