ISAF soldiers from New Zealand enjoy their free time by visiting the holy lake of Band-e-Haibat, one of the Band-e-Amir lakes. The lakes of Band-e-Amir in the Bamiyan province are known for its miracles. The locals come to the lake, not only for sightseeing, but also for pilgrimage. Many of them believe that the freezing crystal water of the lake can cure any disease, if they dip into it three times.
