In a long haul flight, a sweet smile like this gives you positive energy. I took Garuda in my last trip from Beijing to Jakarta, and was extremely impressed by the hospitality of the flight attendants. A Chinese passenger sitting next to me told me that Chinese flight attendants must attend a special training just to smile, and a genuine smile must show at least eight teeth. I told him that the Indonesians don’t need to be trained to smile, nor to be told what a smile is, as they smile from #heart. It comes with no surprise, that Garuda is awarded (again) as the World’s Best Cabin Staff this year by Skytrax.
