I am not married, but I can show you how an Uzbek bride give respects to her husband’s family and guests. First, we wear our best clothes. Mine is traditional silk dress known as atlas. Then we put transparent veil on our head. We hold the corners of the veil with hand, then bow. Slowly down, slowly up. Three times. We call this “Salom, Salom”. This is a good blessings for everybody in the room.
