After the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the hostage incident of American embassy in Tehran in 1979, relationship between Iran and the USA had been frozen. The regime in Tehran always views the US government and people with suspicion. Anti-US slogans and murals are clearly visible in the capital. This building in central Tehran, painted with American flag turned into “Skulls and Stripes” and the infamous slogan “Down with the USA”, must be among the biggest anti-USA murals in the world.
