The Tibetan Buddhists believe that the higher the place, the better it is to deliver their prayers. Therefore, top of hills or mountains are always considered holy, and it becomes the location to build ritual site or to put prayers flags. During the pilgrimage around the most venerated mountain of Kailash, pilgrims deliver their prayers and put their offerings at the highest point of the trek, facing directly to the sacred Mountain.
